I research AI. I'm especially interested in evaluating and deploying new risk-reducing LLM interpretability methods, and in bridging technical alignment research with governance and deployment decisions. Other interests include formal linguistics, IP policy, and education.

Lagrange Interpolation

The internet's first interactive visualization of the Lagrange interpolation polynomial, plotting the interpolating polynomial through user-defined points on the 2D plane. It dynamically recalculates the interpolating polynomial in real-time as points are added, moved, or removed.

Translation Dictionaries

Dictionaries containing translations into five languages of all scientific terminology used in Portland Public’s 5th grade science curricula. So far they have enabled over 800 families in Portland with low English proficiency to engage in their students’ science educations.

Real‑time, GPU‑based WebGL ray tracer with a quadratic Bézier funhouse mirror, including smooth normal interpolation, area‑light soft shadows, stochastic reflections and dispersion, capped self‑reflection, and an interactive editor/physics using applied geometry and GLSL engineering.
